Organic gardening is more a way of life rather than just NOT using toxic chemicals to kill weeds or to fertilise lawns etc. As much as we agree with organic gardening, avoiding manufactured inorganic substances for garden plants brings challenges and problems. Alternative organic products like top soil, compost and mulches often involve more expensive and less readily available resources.  Extra time may need to be allocated for planning, preparation and vigilant maintenance – spotting problems before they get out of hand. Successful gardening following organic principles therefore requires a dedicated and informed approach. However, we are more than happy to help any one who chooses the organic route.
